It's for the best. The Spyro games ended the same way and even though I was dying for a fourth Spyro from Insomniac, I understood why they left the games at its' peak.

I just hope that future Resistance games don't end up as interactive action-figure games...Spyro...

I think they made the right move here. I feel Resistance 3 (after getting a chance to play it recently) was at the franchise's peak. Resistance 1 was good, and 2 was OK. 3 was also OK, and I didn't want to see a Resistance 4 be crap. I am very excited for Overstrike, and I hope that the game turns out awesome!

The third game felt strange since you weren't playing as hale but not sure what else they could do with resistance

As much as I enjoy the Resistance series, this is the right decision for insomniac, time to move on to bigger and better things. Say, how is Overstrike coming along?

I approve of this.

Know when to walk away, now get back to that game you're working on for the 360 and get on the stick for that "as to be announced" Ratchet and Clank HD Collection!
